Utrecht, September 11th, 2024 – Reducate EdTech Group, a leading player in professional online continuing education, announced the acquisition of Amsterdam-based GCP Central today. Reducate serves more than 175,000 professionals in more than 40 different professions with eCPE. 

Founded in 2012, GCP Central is recognized for its modern approach to Good Clinical Practices. The company develops training programs on regulations for professionals in clinical research. Since its inception, over 17,000 participants have completed courses on the regulations for the design and conduct of clinical research. 

Moreover, the Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU) has commissioned GCP Central to further develop and maintain the eBROK® course. The eBROK® (Basic Course Regulations and Organization for Clinical Investigators) is mandatory for clinical researchers involved in research subject to the Medical Research Involving Human Subjects Act (WMO). 

With the acquisition, Reducate EdTech Group strengthens its position as a market leader in Online Continuing Professional Education (eCPE) and expands its portfolio in the medical sector with ‘Clinical Research’. This is an interesting expansion of our portfolio in the medical sector with a great product.
